Operator approval
NORM / 03

AI proposes.
The operator approves.

NORM uses AI to help understand a task and suggest a plan. Actions involving a vehicle still require human approval.

The approval boundary

A proposal is
a starting point.

01

AI assistance

The model helps interpret the task and propose a plan. Its output remains subject to review.

02

Operator judgment

The operator examines the plan and decides whether to approve the relevant device actions.

03

Device verification

Approval alone does not prove delivery or execution. Device-side results need their own verification.

Permission and outcome
are separate questions.

Human approval defines who makes the decision. Acceptance testing establishes what a particular configuration actually did.

Full mission retrieval, independent verification after AI-generated waypoint uploads, and subsequent limited control have not all passed acceptance testing.

The current project summary describes a Windows engineering preview. It does not establish production qualification or end-to-end real-aircraft execution acceptance.
